  • Payment information: Billing details processed through PayFast (Pty) Ltd. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on the Site, referring URLs, browser type, device type, and IP address.
  • Cookies: Small text files stored on your device to improve your browsing experience. See Section 5 below.

1.3 Information from third parties

  • Public directory data: Funeral home details gathered from publicly available sources, business registries, and direct verification for the purpose of maintaining accurate directory listings.

  • Operating and maintaining the funeral services directory.
  • Processing listing claims and verifying business ownership.
  • Sending SMS verification codes via BulkSMS to confirm your mobile number during account registration or listing claims.
  • Processing payments for featured listing upgrades via PayFast.
  • Responding to enquiries submitted through contact forms.
  • Improving the Site, analysing usage patterns, and fixing technical issues.
  • Complying with legal obligations.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (POPIA)

We process your personal information on the following lawful grounds:

  • Contractual necessity: To fulfil our obligations when you purchase a featured listing.

  • Hosting provider: Our web hosting provider stores Site data on servers. Access is restricted to authorised personnel.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

The Site uses cookies for the following purposes:
